PHNTM Racing — Privacy Policy

PHNTM Racing ("PHNTM", "we", "us") is a business of Salithi Enterprises (ABN 90 626 890 846) and operates phntmracing.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with and your choices. We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles and, where they apply to you, the EU/UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act.

What we collect

• Account and list details. Name, email address and, if you give them, your country and motorcycle model, when you join the list or create an account.
• Order details. Name, shipping and billing address, phone number, email, the products you buy, and order history. Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment providers (Shopify Payments and PayPal); we never see or store full card numbers.
• Support messages. Anything you send us by email or the contact form, including photos of parts for fitment or warranty claims.
• Technical data. IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, referring site and campaign source (UTM parameters), collected by Shopify and, if enabled, the analytics and advertising tools listed below.

Why we use it

• To take, produce, ship and support your order, including sending order confirmations, production updates and tracking.
• To confirm list registration and send PHNTM Racing updates about new products, releases and offers, if you have opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To detect and prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
• To understand our audience and improve the store (which bikes and countries to prioritise, which pages work).
• To meet legal obligations such as tax and consumer law records.

Legal bases where GDPR applies: performance of a contract (orders), consent (marketing, non-essential cookies), legitimate interests (security, analytics, fraud prevention) and legal obligation.

Who we share it with

• Shopify Inc., which hosts the store, customer list and order data (servers may be outside Australia).
• Payment providers: Shopify Payments (Stripe) and PayPal, for payment processing and fraud screening.
• Production partners and freight carriers. To make and deliver your order we pass the part specification and your name, address and phone number to the factory and to the courier (for example DHL or FedEx). They receive only what they need to fulfil and deliver.
• Email platform: Shopify Email.
• Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics 4 (Google), the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) and the TikTok Pixel (TikTok). These providers may set cookies and receive technical data and hashed identifiers to measure and target advertising.
• Legal and regulatory bodies where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

International transfers

Our providers process data in Australia, the United States, the European Union and other countries. Where GDPR applies we rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.

Retention

Order records are kept for 7 years to meet tax and consumer-law obligations. List signups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Support messages are kept for 2 years after the matter closes. Technical data is retained according to each provider's settings.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, to stop marketing, or to complain about our handling of it, by emailing help@phntmracing.com. EU/UK residents can also object to processing, request portability and contact their supervisory authority. California residents can request the categories of information we hold and ask that it not be sold (we do not sell it). If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the OAIC (oaic.gov.au).

Cookies

The site uses cookies that are necessary for it to function (cart, checkout, security), and, if you consent where consent is required, analytics and advertising cookies. You can manage cookies in your browser and, for EU/UK visitors, through the cookie banner.

Children

The store is not directed at people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We will post updates here with a new date. Material changes will be announced by email to list members.
